No, I’m not dead nor am I quitting to blog. The reason that there haven’t been many posts recently is because of this. There comes a time in every blogger’s life when one must move up in the sphere and get their very own server. Mine, of course, will be dubbed Kirosblog.com. By looking at the URL you can tell that it will be first and foremost my blog. I plan to be focusing on a few categories: Apple/technology, Design, blogging, and a few personal posts here and there. I am also looking at subscribing to a full-featured flickr account to show more of my photos. Be sure to update your bookmarks and RSS readers. Click on the banner to go to kirosblog.com.
I’ll be on a plane to texas within the hour. If you’d like any updates, feel free to follow my twitter. I’m not sure about internet access there so cross your fingers for me. C ya soon!
As promised, here’s my latest widget; Kiro mini. This widget goes to my twitter account and takes all of my recent Tweets and displays them in a small, matching widget. It’s available now in the downloads section. Enjoy! =D
Sorry for not posting yesterday, I was very busy with school work and my latest endeavor; MacApper. I’ve been following MacApper for almost a month now and have wanted to be a part of it. Now my dream’s come true and I received my email welcoming me tot he team. I’ve sent in a few drafts including my Disco review. Have no fear, this will not stop me from posting here. I happen to have a few features up my sleeve.
A month or two ago, I made a widget that follows my blog and displays my new posts. That widget was nice but it really didn’t flow with the design of my blog. Today, I’m releasing an updated version that matches my blog, and views the images. Right now I am working on my own, personal Twitter widget which will show all of my tweets that I send each day. I’m almost finished with it and will most likely post it up tomorrow. You can find my widgets at the download page. I’m off to write some more! Thanks for reading!
It’s getting to be that time of year again! Because my desktop and documents folders were getting so crowded, I decided to clean up early. Now, my desktop is Extremely clear with only my Hard Drive, iDisk, and Developer folder showing. I’ve also organized my mail app so that I can have a clean inbox every morning. I think I’ve taken 5 gigabytes off in the two hours I’ve worked. Now I’m starting to get a system going for my blog entries and such. This new file system should help. Ah, just smell the fresh pixels.
I can’t believe I won! I entered a contest at the wphj blog and won a copy of iClip 4! Yay! =D I installed it quicker than you can see a jack rabbit on a log rolling down the hickory smokes of the Titanic. I’ve heard about it before. iClip is the best clip board manager…ever!
iClip is simple to use. You simply drag and drop things into the little “portal like” clips. Then you can drag or paste them out! The first clip is always your clip board and you can make as many clips as you’d like! You can even make new sets that are like different tabs of clips. I could get used to this. =P
I’ve placed it on the left of my screen for easy viewing but I haven’t gotten used to the keyboard short cuts…well duh considdering that I’ve only had it for less then an hour.
Well, here’s to many happy iClip 4 memories! I can’t wait to see what’s in store for us. Now all I have do is add it to my log in items. Well, See ya ’round
Okay. I bought my iMac G5 with both a normal, wired, Apple mouse and a normal, wired, Apple keyboard. Later on I got very tired of the mouse getting caught on it’s wire so I bought Apple’s wireless mouse. I don’t know what I’d do without it! However, my keyboard is starting to get annoying with it’s cable. You’re probably wondering how. Well, because I use my desk for other things, I need to move it out of the way. It really can’t go anywhere but under the iMac making it almost imposable to type with it. Other times I’d like to sit farther away but the poor little cord can not reach that far. With that in mind, I think it’s time to get a new “wireless” keyboard.
I don’t want to spend too much money on one so my hunt begins to find a low cost, wireless keyboard. I may end up getting an Apple one to match.
What do you think? Do you have any recommendations?
I’ve decided to use choose a new layout just for a change of scene. I think this one looks better. =D
